Freddy serves on the Operations team as an Operations Director.
He supports several portfolio companies at the management level, focusing on operational leadership, transformation, and sustainable value creation. Before joining AEQUITA, Freddy built a broad international track record through progressive management and leadership roles at Faurecia, Takata, TMD Friction, Mahle, and at MUTARES, where he led complex operational turnarounds across automotive, industrial, and defense related businesses. His seven years plus in Japan provided a strong foundation in TPS and Total Quality Management, complemented by extensive cross cultural leadership experience in high precision manufacturing environments.
Freddy holds an M.Sc. in Material Science and Technology from Nagaoka University of Technology in Japan and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science Engineering from Simón Bolívar University in Venezuela.
