Kai is a member of the operations team and leads the transformation of portfolio companies.
During the last 15 years Kai gained experience in various leadership roles in technology-driven small-medium enterprises, having a focus on steel-based industries. He led initiatives that achieved strong profitable sales growth, turn-arounds and integration of companies, lastly as Managing Director in a multi-national group of small-medium enterprises for 8 years.
Prior to that Kai worked for 10 years as management consultant with A.T. Kearney and BMW AG. There, he specialized in process optimization in the field of product development, purchasing and production.
Kai earned a M.Sc. with focus on mechanical engineering of Technical University of Berlin and an M.B.A. of IESE Business School Barcelona.
