Markus is Director at Aequita and part of the operations team.
He is responsible for the alignment and implementation of transformation and growth initiatives at management level in the portfolio companies.
Before joining Aequita, Markus managed an international engineering and IT service provider. Prior to that, he carried out transformation programs at Roland Berger for clients in the automotive and machinebuilding industry. The focus here was on holistic product cost reduction, including the areas of purchasing, production, development, logistics, sales and quality.
Markus studied mechanical engineering and business administration at RWTH Aachen University and Tsinghua University in Beijing. He later received his doctoral degree in engineering at Fraunhofer IAPT.
