Jan serves on the Operations team as an Associate Director.
He takes the lead on operational restructuring projects. To ensure sustainability in the change process and continuous improvements, it is important to him not only to introduce lean methods but also to promote an open culture of failure among employees and demonstrate the opportunities offered by change. Before joining AEQUITA, Jan worked in lean consultancies and subsequently managed production systems at the Knorr-Bremse Group and the Novartis Group. He was responsible for the restructuring of several operations during his time in the private equity industry and most recently led a medical technology plant at Olympus as General Manager in service and refurbishment.
Jan holds a degree in industrial engineering (FH) and an executive MBA in international lean manufacturing consulting from Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences.
