Michael is part of the Operations team as Associate Director.
With his international experience in management positions in the automotive industry as well as strategy and operations consulting, he leads strategic transformations and operational areas in the portfolio companies.
Previously, he was responsible for innovation and program management in the Exterior & Lighting division at OPmobility, a leading international automotive supplier. As Director Product Management at Webasto, he built up a new business area including first OEM orders and SOP. Other positions include Corporate Strategy & Development at Webasto, Strategy & Operations Consulting at Deloitte and management roles in Procurement and Project Management at Vossloh.
His focus is on improving performance along the entire value chain: R&D portfolio and program management, innovation management, industrialization and scaling of new products, purchasing as well as M&A support and post-merger integration.
Michael holds an engineering degree in automotive mechatronics from the Technical University of Dresden and studied industrial engineering in parallel. He then completed his doctorate at Robert Bosch GmbH in cooperation with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) with a degree as Dr.-Ing. / Ph.D. in the fields of artificial intelligence and autonomous driving and is a certified PMP®. He speaks German, English and French. He also holds more than 50 patent families.
