Rafael is a Director in the Transactions team.
He is responsible for the execution of corporate transactions from structuring and negotiation through to closing. He has led cross-border corporate carve-outs involving sellers and target companies across Europe, Asia and the Americas. In addition, he drives the inorganic growth strategy of portfolio companies, from platform to add-on acquisitions, and supports selected sell-side processes alongside his buy-side work. Prior to joining AEQUITA, Rafael gained international experience in private and public equity investments.
Rafael holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Insper in São Paulo and a Master of Finance from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
