Axel is a founder and managing partner of AEQUITA.
He founded and financed AEQUITA in 2018 together with Christoph Himmel. Today, he leads the group together with his partner colleagues. With his technical background, he mainly supports the operational teams in the portfolio companies. Prior to founding AEQUITA, he had already successfully built up a listed investment company and repositioned medium-sized companies as managing director.
Axel studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich and subsequently obtained his doctorate. He received his commercial training as a management consultant at Bain & Company.
