Rafael is Head of International Business at TH Capital, a Chinese private equity fund with investment focus on growth equity investments in Chinese high-tech companies. In addition, Rafael is responsible for an international family office in Zurich. He has been living in China since 2008 and has broad experience in the investment and management of Chinese and international companies in China, valuable expertise which he brings to the AEQUITA management team and its portfolio companies.
Rafael holds a bachelor of industrial and systems engineering and a bachelor of management from Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong/China), an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management (Boston/USA) and an MBA from Tsinghua University (Beijing/China). He is also fluent in Chinese.
